MEDIA CRITERIA: Entries are limited to water media including any combination of watercolor, tempera, gouache, acrylic, casein, ink, charcoal, gesso, watercolor crayons, pencils and pens including metallic. One must exclude water-soluble oils as well as any other similar substance.
ENTRY FEE: Artists may enter one painting. A non-refundable fee of $30 for GCWS members, must accompany the entry form. No changes can be made after entry is received. No refunds will be made. All entries must be labeled on the back (upper right) with artist’s name, phone number, title, value and whether or not the painting is for sale.
FRAMED & WIRED FOR HANGING: All types of frames are acceptable except those that are ornate or heavy. Paintings must be Framed unless mounted on a cradle board ¾”- 2” deep with finished sides or be painted on wrapped canvas ¾” – 2” deep. All paintings not protected by plexi or glass must be varnished. Wood or canvas flat panels must be framed. Saw tooth hangers are not permitted. Maximum size frame/artwork is less than 40”in any direction. (New) The minimum size of an unframed (cradle board) painting is 10” x 10”. Mats are optional with no color restrictions. Work must be sturdily framed under Plexiglas (preferred) or g lass, wired and ready for hanging (work will be rejected if it does not comply and fees will NOT be refunded.)

Established in 2012, Art Gallery 21, Inc. is a Florida-registered 501c3 non-profit organization working in partnership with Wilton Manors Leisure Services Department to bring art and cultural experiences to the Island City.
