What to know before submitting artwork for exhibition at Art Gallery 21.

Submission criteria
All fine art media is accepted, including oil, pastel, watercolor, acrylics, mixed media, photography and collage. Sculptures may be accepted, with the understanding that we have a limited number of pedestals for exhibition.
Maximum size of two-dimensional art is 36 inches in height, not including frame. All artwork must be clean and in sturdy condition, and wired for hanging — saw-tooth hangers are not accepted.
All protected artwork must use Plexiglas, not glass. Unframed works on canvas must be finished on all sides, with no staples showing.
Artists must attach a tag to the back of each artwork submitted for exhibition, including the artist's name, title of work, medium and price. Art Gallery 21 may use digital images of art on exhibit to promote the gallery to the public.
For art groups exhibiting with Art Gallery 21, the number of individual artworks that can be exhibited is limited to 40. The gallery reserves the right to refuse any artwork not appropriate for a publicly shared space. Packing materials used to transport art must be removed at delivery, as they cannot be stored on site.

Sale of artwork
A 20% donation to Art Gallery 21, Inc. is collected on the sale of artwork sold while exhibiting in the gallery.

Waiver of liability: Every reasonable precaution will be taken to assure the safety of all art in the possession of Art Gallery 21. The City of Wilton Manors and Art Gallery 21 are not responsible for loss or damage to art or other property while it is transported to or from the gallery, or while on exhibit.
