Art Gallery 21 will present The Winner’s Show with an artists’ reception on Saturday, December 16th during Wilton Manors Art Walk! The doors will open at 6 PM and our winning artists will be on hand to greet friends, old and new!

Art Gallery 21’s 12th annual Island City Juried Art Competition saw 24 individual artists submit 41 original works of art for consideration. Ranging from photos and pencil drawings to mixed media, oil paintings and ceramic sculptures, it was an eclectic and delightful exhibit of local art and every year brings new work and new artists into the gallery.

Our Jurist, Chris Ingalls, carefully deliberated each entry to choose the winners and her selections are, themselves, diverse.

First Place went to Galal Ramadan for his colored pencil drawing, Fading Memories #1.

Second Place went to Christine Quaglieri for her mixed media on canvas titled, The Secret of Happiness.

Third Place was presented to Tedd Davis for his mixed media on board appropriately called Queen Bee.
