Art Gallery 21 Begins The New Year Launching
The Book Project: Speaking Volumes, A New Art Exhibit, Installation and Series of Workshops Inspired by Books

WILTON MANORS, Fla. — Art Gallery 21, Inc. is pleased to announce it has partnered with 6 Hands Collaborative and the Richard C. Sullivan Public Library to deliver a new art exhibit called The Book Project: Speaking Volumes to the gallery housed in The Woman’s Club of Wilton Manors from Jan. 18 through Feb. 8, 2020.

This new art exhibit and original art installation will be open to the public on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. through February 8, 2020. Art Gallery 21 is known for showcasing original art by local artists and continues this tradition into the new decade. “The concept of this exhibit was inspired by the idea of books and the impact they have had on modern society and humanity. I’m excited to launch this multi-dimensional art exhibit and series of workshops to the public as our first art initiative of 2020. We believe this new exhibit will continue to fulfill our mission of promoting local artists to residents and visitors of the Island City,” said Constance Ruppender, founder of Art Gallery 21, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Wilton Manors, Fla.

The Book Project: Speaking Volumes will be hosted at Art Gallery 21’s designated community building, the historic Woman’s Club of Wilton Manors located at 600 NE 21 Court in Wilton Manors, Fla., which is situated in the heart of the Wilton Manors Art & Entertainment District. “Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., visitors can view the exhibit with friends and family.  We’re very grateful to our volunteers who are acting as docents and are even providing guided tours and information about each piece of art on display,” Ruppender said.

Art Gallery 21 will host a grand opening and unveiling of The Book Project: Speaking Volumes art exhibit on Jan. 18, 2020 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. “This ceremony is open to the general public and we encourage art lovers and collectors to attend, mingle with the show’s artists and be among the first to view this unique exhibit. Art Gallery 21 will serve refreshments and provide live music to go with the art as it lands on the weekend of Wilton Manors Art Walk,” Ruppender said.

In addition to the exhibition, Art Gallery 21 will host a series of three one-day art and book-themed workshops for art lovers, artists and crafters. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ArtGallery21.org.
