The Art of Tyce Marshall, et al

Art Gallery 21 is pleased to present The Art of Tyce Marshall with Mark Baker, Patti Maceri, Pamela Maldonado, Carl Phillips and Pat Wahl. These artists have brought a breath of springtime air to the gallery and we welcome them!

NOTE: In the header above, we have used “et al” and some folks might wonder what that means. It is an abbreviation for et alii (masculine), et aliae (feminine) or et alia (neuter), in all cases meaning “and others.”

Our curator, Robert Gross, with assistance from Celia Diaz and Dirk Eberle, have created a show laced with charm and a lovely sense of promise. We invite everyone to join us on Friday, March 18th at 7 PM for an Art Social and you can see for yourselves how magical this exhibit really is.

Seascape by Tyce Marshall

Our featured artist, Tyce Marshall, has been an artist as long as he can remember and his mediums include oils on canvas and gesso panels, watercolors, pastels and pencil drawings. A graduate of the Swain School of Design in New Bedford, Massachusetts, it is clear that his work is influenced by living on the coast as he specializes in seascapes. He has exhibited his work in galleries in New Bedford and Cape Cod, Massachusetts; Lewes, Delaware; and here in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are absolutely charmed with Tyce’s art and with his lovely wife, Gail!

The “and others” are students of Mr. Gross and it has been our pleasure to watch as they each continue to grow as artists, all of which is reflected in their newest works being exhibited in this show. Art Gallery 21 has taken on the mission of showcasing the work of local artists and it is exciting to watch as an artist’s work takes on depth as he or she refines their technique and finds their individual artistic voice. Every show is unique and provides an opportunity to enrich the public’s appreciation of fine art at its finest! Thanks to everyone who makes this possible!
