Art Gallery 21 presents Mash Ups with Francie Bishop Good

MASH UPS with FRANCIE BISHOP GOOD
EXHIBIT OPENING: Saturday, November 15th from 6 to 8 PM
Gallery Open Fridays & Saturdays from 5 to 7 PM and by appointment through December13th

Art Gallery 21 is pleased to present Mash Ups, a striking new body of work by Francie Bishop Good, deepening her ongoing exploration of memory, emotional vulnerability, and the porous boundary between observation and imagination. Drawing has long been Bishop Good’s most instinctive medium, an anchor since childhood.

In this series, she begins with traditional graphite sketches, digitally dismantling and reassembling them. Through layered textures, fields of color, and unexpected juxtapositions, the work transforms into a dreamlike terrain where figures flicker between presence and disappearance. Rooted in observation yet guided by intuition, Bishop Good embraces accidents, disruptions, and ambiguity, creating images that hover between structure and fragmentation, intimacy and abstraction.

Mash Ups invites viewers into a space where emotion resists containment, memory is refracted, and the self remains fluid—unfixed and evolving.

Francie Bishop Good (b. 1949, Bethlehem, PA) earned her BFA from the University of Colorado and her M.Ed. from Florida Atlantic University. She is a two-time recipient of the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship and the State of Florida Individual Artist Fellowship.
