Please join us in the gallery, live and in person, on Saturday, September 17th to find out who the winners of the 11th Annual Island City Juried Art Competition are. The gallery doors will open at 5 PM. The exhibit includes a diverse array of 40 original works of art created by 24 local artisans. A visit to Art Gallery 21 will provide you with a good dose of culture, some laughter and you might make a new friend or two.

Our jurist this year is former Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art Executive Director George Bolge, who brings a lifetime of art experiences to our little neighborhood art gallery. He has been an influence on the Broward Arts Council and on the county’s public art program and is also an avid art collector. Thanks to our board member, Dr. Claire Crawford, for introducing Mr. Bolge to Art Gallery 21!

Art Gallery 21 will announce the first, second and third place winners at approximately 6:30 PM and they will be presented with cash awards and ribbons. Our three winners will have an exclusive exhibit of their work, aptly titled “THE WINNERS’ SHOW” from December 18, 2022 to January8, 2023.

Art Gallery 21 is open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 5 to 7 PM and by appointment through October 8, 2022.

Art Gallery 21, Inc. is a Florida-registered 501c3 non-profit organization working in partnership with Wilton Manors Leisure Services Department to bring art and cultural experiences to the residents and visitors of the Island City.
