Art Gallery 21 at the Woman’s Club of Wilton Manors is a longtime supporter of the LGBTQ community.  We are pleased to partner with ArtsUnited to celebrate PRIDE month with a juried art exhibition dedicated to love! IT’S ABOUT LOVE art exhibit will showcase the work of South Florida artists. Art Gallery 21 will launch the exhibit on Saturday, May 29th from 5 to 8 PM. It will be exciting to witness the distribution of $1,000, which go to the artists! The 1st Place Artist will receive $450; 2nd Place – $250; 3rd Place – $150; and 3 Honorable Mentions of $50 each.

We anticipate there will be vibrant and colorful art in mediums ranging from oils, watercolors and pastels to mixed media, photography and sculptures that are sure to inspire LOVE!

ArtsUnited‘s mission since it was founded in 1999 is to use the arts to present a positive message about the LGBTQ community and provide opportunities for artists to contribute to the cultural, social, and economic success of the community. ArtsUnited implements their mission by producing programs and events that present their member artists and promotes the development of culturally diverse arts. They collaborate with other organizations in South Florida, like Art Gallery 21, to maximize the cultural offerings for their members and patrons and expand their audience in the Broward County community at large.

Art Gallery 21 works in partnership with the Wilton Manors Leisure Services Department to bring art and cultural experiences to the community and we are over the moon to be collaborating with ArtsUnited during PRIDE month!
