We’re super excited and looking forward to the opening of a new exhibit on Saturday, January 6th at 7 PM at Art Gallery 21! It is with great pleasure that we present the art of Robert Gross and Celia Diaz with Dirk Eberle, Errol Gross, Natalee Jones and Louise Meredith.
Robert Gross is a gifted art teacher, and, he is also well known for his series of paintings, The Disappearing Pastures of Broward County, in the early 21st century. Many of those pastures are gone and now serve as the sites of shopping plazas and multi-family homes. In the last few years, Bob has taken to creating paintings of the watery landscapes of the Everglades. He claims that the light moves across the water, changing the view from one minute to the next, and in each moment there exists a bit of beauty. His watercolor paintings capture the sky reflected in the water and create a peaceful work of art that is soothing to the spirit. Of course, you have to see them for yourself to fully understand and appreciate the talent of this sweet man, and, you’ll have the opportunity to do that throughout January.
It is an extraordinarily beautiful exhibit. The caliber of work ranks among the finest art available locally and surprises in this exhibit bring a wonderful world of color as it spills from the brushes of all the artists. Recently, an artist commented … “the light is different here in south Florida.” Maybe that’s what draws creative spirits to live and work here! And, how lucky we are that they are willing to share their work with Art Gallery 21!
Please join us on January 6th for the unveiling of this new art exhibit! We’d love to see you again or meet you for the first time!
Art Gallery 21 is pleased to present the extraordinary work of five local artists: Rosemary Lisa Boyd, Monika Hurter, Barbara Pardon, Angie Riserbato and Aviva Sasson are local painters, each with a distinctively different style. The range of mediums includes oil, watercolor, acrylic and mixed media and we feel confident in saying everyone will see something they like!
We hope you will join us at 7 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2017 to meet the artists and experience the charm of Art Gallery 21, located in the former Woman’s Club of Wilton Manors. The exhibit will be open to the public until December 2, 2017.
If you aren’t able to join us for the opening, don’t worry. The gallery will be open on Saturday, November 18 for the ART EXPO (art walk) on Wilton Drive.
Art Gallery 21, Inc. is a nonprofit organization working in partnership with Wilton Manors Leisure Services Department to bring more art experiences to the Island City. We are located at 600 NE 21 Court, Wilton Manors, FL 33305, next to the volleyball court at the northeast corner of Hagen Park, just east of Wilton Drive.

UPDATE: Wilton Drive will be closed as will all City buildings for the annual Gay Pride Festival. We are postponing the gallery opening to Saturday, June 24 at 7 PM. We apologize for the inconvenience.
It sounds trite, but, where did the time go? It seems as though it is slipping away, into the future. All the more reason to welcome summertime. The snow birds are gone, school is out and the pace is laid back and easy. Let’s enjoy it, shall we?
This Saturday evening at 7 PM we will open our newest exhibition of art, showcasing the works of Darlene Fenster, Carol Finlayson, Barbara Pardon, Heidi Reiter and Henry Rhommerdahl. As is our practice, there will be an art social, an opportunity for visitors to meet the artists, to talk about art, and, to make new friends or meet up with old ones. There is art worthy of our attention and, once again, there are surprises in this show. But, you have to come see for yourself!
Please join us on Saturday, June 17th, or, visit any Saturday through July 15th. We would love to see you again or meet you for the first time!

Art Gallery 21 is super excited about the show scheduled to open Friday, December 9th! Come celebrate the season with us and meet the exciting lineup of artists!
We have an exciting new artist whose work is very impressive: R. R. Robinson. We’ve seen the art and we can hardly wait to meet the artist! Her work is reminiscent of watercolor illustrations in a storybook and we think you’ll be as charmed as we are!
We’re thrilled at the return of an artist that has been in our gallery family since we opened our doors in 2012: José Herazo-Osorio! His work has evolved since the last time we had the privilege of showing his art and we’re truly moved by the passion and love of the human form he shows in his new paintings.
A past juried show winner, Pat Wahl, is included in the exhibit along with her daughter-in-law, Jean Wahl. We love it when art runs in the family! We are extremely fond of Pat’s beautiful Cypress Forest painting that she’s submitted. It’s a dreamy work of art!
And, last, but, certainly not least, is Luz Valencia, a woman filled with laughter who creates art filled with color and light.
As is our tradition, we will celebrate the spirit of the season on Friday evening, December 9th beginning at 7 PM! We would love to have our friends and followers join us! If your busy holiday schedule prohibits you joining us, have no fear! The gallery will be open Friday evenings from 7 to 9 PM throughout the month of December.
Do pay us a visit! We’d love to see you again or meet you for the first time!
