Description
This unique painting spotlights a famous landmark and intersection that most Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors residents will quickly recognize. The caboose was located at the E. Sunrise Blvd. crossing of the Florida East Coast Railroad and there is history to this site: Back in 2001, when the 30-ton Seaboard Coast Line Caboose was gifted to the South Florida Railway Museum, there was no ready site. It ended up on a patch of land along Dixie Highway owned by the Dietrich family business, Deerfield Builders Supply. The caboose was moved to Deerfield Beach in 2017. This beautiful Nia Nakis piece of art was exhibited at Art Gallery 21 in the Summer 2019 Art Exhibit, which spotlighted art work of old Florida.
20 IN x 16 IN Acrylic on Canvas, Framed, Art Gallery 21 watermark not on original art.
