Art Gallery 21 welcomes Gold Coast Watercolor Society’s annual juried exhibition, “Members Love Watercolor!”

A Watermedia Group, Gold Coast Watercolor Society is a resource for artists, both new and experienced. One of the longest established art groups in Broward County, they will be celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2026.

“Members Love Watercolor” offers a remarkable diversity of artistic styles, ranging from abstract interpretations to photo-realistic renderings. You will discover artists at various stages of their careers, delivering an array of art from emerging talents and established masters. The juried selection process ensures that only exceptional work is exhibited, highlighting the highest caliber of artistic achievement in this challenging medium.

Watercolor paintings captivate viewers with their unique qualities of transparency and layering effects, allowing artists to capture nuanced emotions and perspectives in ways other mediums cannot.

These watercolor artists tell complex stories through the imagery they create and, with Gold Coast Watercolor Society, have created a space for artists to connect, network, and gain recognition for their work.

GCWS Active Period: October-May, with general meetings on the third Tuesday of each month, 7pm at ArtServe, 1350 E Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale.
